live it to give it is all about love and connection. Being authentic. Living our lives and sharing it with others. Life is messy and so is this blog. Somedays my organized coach self shows up. Other days it's my vulnerable author. There's a mom that lives inside me alongside a wife, friend, social justice activist, creative muse, ponderer extraordinaire, and multitude of others. I'll introduce you to people who inspire me and offer a peek into my world that very likely intersects with your world. In other words, I will share life in its full, glorious mess with you. I'm honored you're here and I hope you'll come back soon!!  Cheers! Kayce

Imagining a new existence for everyone is our best hope. It’s time for Revolutionary Love.

May we each consider the stories of our lives and how they impact not only ourselves, but others. May we be curious. May we do better as we know better.

Ties on the Table aka Friction

Tethers. Feathers. Facing freedom and forgetting it. Floating free and feeling tied down. Straining at my pen like ropes are wrapped around my wrists.

Paris, Je t'aime! Now and Always

I tear up each time someone mentions Paris or I see the colors of the French flag displayed on a Seattle high-rise or a neighbor’s front porch. I want to pay my own tribute and feel that I don’t know how. I open my journal from a month ago and realize I didn’t feel like I knew how to pay tribute to the City of Light even before the recent tragedy.
